Scottish Seabird Centre
The five star award-winning Seabird Centre is set in a stunning location overlooking the islands of the Firth of Forth and the white sandy beaches of North Berwick.
It's a great day out with something for everyone! In the exciting Discovery Centre - with amazing live cameras, you can zoom in for a nose to beak encounter with seabirds and marine wildlife - and there's always something new to see - puffins and gannets with chicks in spring and summer and seals with pups in winter. There's a Wildlife Cinema, Kids' Zone, Migration Flyway & Environment Zone, Seabird Seafari Boat Trips (March-October) and an exciting programme of events all year round.
Perched on a rocky outcrop at North Berwick Harbour, overlooking the islands of the Firth of Forth and sandy beaches of East Lothian, the Scottish Seabird Centre is unique in the world.
A world leader in remote wildlife viewing, with live cameras located on these wildlife rich islands, visitors can pan and zoom to see the tiniest details (like the ID ring on a bird's foot) and observe thousands of nesting seabirds and marine mammals, without disturbing the animals in any way.
The Scottish Seabird Centre is a charity dedicated to inspiring people to appreciate and care for wildlife and the environment. All proceeds are reinvested in the work of the charity and the Centre relies on the help of all its volunteers, members and sponsors to survive.
